A quiet location - but lots to do

Greenlake Villa is in a quiet rural road, just four for five minutes' walk to the town centre and harbour where there are lots of family-type bars and friendly restaurants, many of them set in lovely riverside gardens.

Our nearest beach is the famous 7km long Iztuzu Beach which is carefully protected because turtles bury their eggs in the sand. You reach the beach by boat or small bus and there are small cafe/bars where you can get a drink, snack or game of backgammon.

Turkish ladies in little huts make the traditional pancakes which are a feature of the area.

There are lots of things to do in Dalyan:
Boat trips
Dawn trips to see the turtles
 Bird watching
 Horse riding
Walking
Trekking
 Moonlight boat barbecues
 Rafting
 Snorkelling
 Jeep safari
 Microlite trips
 Turkish baths
Saturday market in the village centre

The mudbaths just across the river are great fun. They are said to cure all ills and make you 10 years younger!

The thermal baths on the lake are another wonderful experience and we often arrange a moonlight barbecue on the way there.

Children also enjoy visiting the Stork Gardens just outside the village which the storks visit each April to lay their eggs in the tall pine trees that are their natural habitat. During the summer you will see the stork families in their big nests on the top of the trees.

Hidden behind the rock graves just across the river are the fascinating ruins of the ancient city of Kaunos, with its amphitheatre, Roman baths and Byzantine church

We can organise trips to lots of sights and attractions:

Walking the gorge at Saklikent - with rubber ring rafting for the adventurous
Boat trips to visit the 12 islands off the coast, with swimming and lunch on board
The world famous archaeological site at Ephesus
The petrified water cascades at Pamukkale
 Rhodes by hydrofoil
Lunch at a mountain trout farm restaurant
 Visits to traditional Turkish villages
